Mazeppa, Folk Hero of the Ukraine

Original release german movie poster, graphic design Josef Fenneker. An early and graphically outstanding design, certainly a highlight in Fenneker's work. The poster was expertly backed on japanese ricepaper, cleaned, and had only minimal restoration. No attempt was made to make the poster look 'perfect', and small paper loss in the borders is still visible. With Alfred Beierle, Max Gülstorff, Rudolf Hofbauer, directed by Martin Berger.
