Original release german advertising poster, graphic design Josef Fenneker. The Luna Park was a giant amusement park in Berlin-Halensee. Proprietor Siegbert Goldschmidt also owned the Marmorhaus cinema at the time. The poster was expertly backed on japanese ricepaper, cleaned, and had only minimal restoration. No attempt was made to make the poster look 'perfect', but in my opinion, the signs of wear only enhance the appearance of this beautiful poster. A true highlight in Fenneker's oeuvre, and an amazing reference to the Berlin of the 1920s.
